JobRig
⚠️ DRAFT — requires a professional legal review before launch (owner decision v3·C1: the calculation-disclaimer wording lives here + in a one-time in-app note; a lawyer should confirm the final text, especially the liability limitation and governing-law clauses). Drafted 2026-07-06. Host at jobrig.app/terms alongside the privacy policy.

Terms of Use

Effective date: [SET AT LAUNCH] · Contact: barvazesh@gmail.com

1. What JobRig is

JobRig is a set of calculation tools for tradespeople. It computes geometry and quantities from the numbers you enter. It is a working aid — not a substitute for professional judgment, measurement verification, or compliance with laws and building codes.

2. Your responsibility for results

3. No warranty

JobRig is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app is error-free or that results are accurate for your specific situation.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobRig and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, wasted materials, project delays, property damage, or personal injury — arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app or its results. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer-protection law grants you and that cannot be waived. [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm this section against Israeli consumer law and the app stores' EU/US requirements.]

5. Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent the app; don't use it in violation of law. The app, its design, and its content are the developer's intellectual property.

6. Privacy

The privacy policy at jobrig.app/privacy describes what the app does and doesn't collect. It is part of these terms.

7. Changes

These terms and the app may change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date; continued use after a change is acceptance of it.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm choice of law + venue for a globally-distributed consumer app], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

Appendix — in-app one-time note (v3·C1 lock)

Shown ONCE, the first time a tool with regulation-flavored defaults opens (e.g., the spacing tool's max-gap). Field labels stay clean ("Max gap"); this note carries the caveat:

Defaults are references, not rules. Values like the max gap are common-practice starting points — not building-code compliance. Codes vary by location; check yours. Every default is editable.

One button: Got it. Never shown again for that tool. The full wording lives in these Terms (§2). [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm this note's wording.]
